My Role: As one of the founders of LocalSay, I played a crucial role in shaping the user experience and technical backbone of the platform. Here’s an in-depth look at my contributions:

User Experience and Design:

• Collaborated closely with the design team to create an intuitive, user-friendly interface.
• Conducted user research and usability testing to ensure the platform met the needs of our diverse user base.
• Designed interactive prototypes and wireframes to guide the development process.

Development:

• Used Sails.js, a powerful MVC framework to develop the back-end infrastructure.
• Implemented MongoDB for our database, efficiently handling over 16,520 entries within Ranchi.
• Developed social media features allowing users to collaborate, share reviews, and follow local influencers.

Database Management:

• Architected and maintained a robust database on DigitalOcean’s servers.
• Ensured data integrity and optimised database performance to handle high volumes of user interactions.

CI/CD Implementation:

• Established a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to streamline the development process.
• Automated testing and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable updates.

Server Management:

• Managed DigitalOcean’s infrastructure, including the database server and load balancer, to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implemented security measures and regular backups to safeguard user data.
